Die 2009 von der Schlagzeug-Akademie Drumtrainer Berlin gegründete „Drumtrainer Marschkapelle“ versteht sich weniger als eine klassische Drumline oder Trommelgruppe, sondern vielmehr als „Beatmaschine Berlin-Style“, die auf Marsch-Instrumenten moderne Elektro- und Hip Hop-Beats und New Orleans-, Samba- und Calypso-Rhythmen umsetzt. Die Marschkapelle hat aber auch „deutsche“ Polka-Rhythmen und Walzer im Programm, auf Wunsch mit Gesang.
Immer getreu dem Motto: „Voll auf die 12“.
Full steam ahead!
The Drumtrainer Marschkapelle, was created in 2009 by the Berlin based Drum Academy „Drumtrainer Berlin“ and is not your classic marching band or percussion group. Instead, it sees itself as a Berlin-style beat machine which uses marching band instruments to play modern electro and hip hop beats and New Orleans, Samba and Calypso rhythms. The Marschkapelle programme also spans „German“ polka rhythms and waltzes, with optional singing.
Regardless of the style, we stay true to our motto: „Full steam ahead“.
